8U Junior Warriors Team
Our 8U Junior Warrior program differs from our 8U House program in that it builds on the foundations formed in the 6U & 8U House programs. There are no tryouts, but it is strongly recommended that players have hockey experience and can skate well. This program has additional practices and opportunities to compete as a team, as an introduction to travel hockey.
Includes two one hour practices, one hour supplemental skating clinic (optional) and a one hour house scrimmage per week, two home jamborees and other away jamboree opportunities. The number of away jamborees is to be determined. There will be travel expenses including possible out of state travel and overnight stays. Participation in the 8U house program is required (cost of both is calculated into the 8U Jr. Warrior price).
Players are required to purchase home/away game jerseys and home/away socks. A warmup tracksuit will be offered but is not a required purchase. Navy pant shells/breezer covers will be loaned to players for the duration of the season and must be turned back in.
Birth Years: 2016-2017
Full hockey gear is required.
8U Jr. Warrior players are additionally required to have Cape Fear travel jerseys which are purchased separately. Jersey ordering will take place at the beginning of the season.
IF THE REGISTRATION IS FULL we have reached max for the two teams. We have a waitlist for interested players, but this does not replace registering for the 8U House program. Please complete the registration for 8U House and then add your name to the waitlist for the Jr. Warriors team.

Locker Room Policy
Cell phones, cameras, tablets, or any device with recording capabilities cannot be used by any participant in locker rooms.
A sweep of the locker rooms and changing areas is conducted before players arrive, and if the coaches are not inside the locker rooms, either a coach or voluntary locker room monitor (each of which has completed the required SafeSport training) will be posted directly outside of the locker rooms and changing areas during periods of use, and leave doors open only when adequate privacy is still possible, so that only approved team personnel (coaches and players) are permitted in the locker rooms.
