Dates are still tentative at this point per guidance from CAHA but we anticipate that our tryouts will take place in early August.  We will share a definitive date giving at minimum a 4 week lead in to give everyone time to make plans to attend.

Rink Update -

Great news!  While Fort Bragg has not given the go ahead for Cleland to open back up yet, some great improvements are being done at the rink by AJ and his team.  At this point it is looking like mid-Summer for when we can get back on the ice at Cleland.  If your player wants to get some practice in, the inline rink at the back of Cleland is open on a first come first serve basis.

A Welcome Letter From Our New President

Warrior family,

It is a great honor and privilege to serve as your President for this next term.   Though unfortunate for us to be in such dire conditions as the world is in today, I am more than optimistic that we will overcome these many adversities soon & come back together for this next evolution of the CFYHA.  Until then, as we anxiously wait for our world’s doors to reopen, I do pray that all of you are out of harm’s way and able to spend more quality time with your family. Stay safe and Godspeed.

    Coach's Challenge -W/O 5/4

    Coach's Challenge

This week’s challenge will build off of last week’s stickhandling. This week we are adding obstacles and movement. Here is a video that you can use for ideas. Be creative. If you don’t have cones, use pucks, soda cans, or anything else you have around the house. The demonstrations are done on inline skates but can all be done in your sneakers.

Post video or photos of your player working on their skills under out post on Facebook.
